Mangosteen is a popular delicious fruit in Southeast Asia. Pulp is eaten fresh, canned, and made into squash, syrup, or jelly. It is also used for me dicinal purposes. The wood is valued for high-quality timber in the prepara tion of a wide range of furniture.
