ABSTRACT
Passionfruit is widely cultivated in the tropics and subtropics in small or chards or in home gardens. The pulp and seeds are eaten fresh from shell and used in salad. The flavored pulp is used in the preparation of jams, jel lies, and beverages. Seeds contain a high amount (20 percent) of edible oil.
