ABSTRACT

One of the main concerns of aortic transcatheter valve therapies (TCVT) is the risk of coronary flow impairment. Since the beginning of aortic valved stent implantation no study has specifically focused on coronary flow and flow disturbances caused by the device struts or aortic root geometrical distortion caused by the generally oversized device. The following study analyses preprocedural, per-procedural, and postprocedural coronary flow pattern by Doppler-enhanced intracardiac echocardiography.
