Abstract In this arti le an approa h for the integration of Session Initiation Proto ol (SIP)-based session and ontext management, the Virtual
Organization on epts from the Grid ommunity and SOAP-based servi e in-
tera tions is presented. The te hni al approa h is motivated by two simplied
s enarios that have been realized in the frame of a large s ale European ol-
laborative resear h proje t alled Akogrimo. Furthermore, dierent ontext
gathering approa hes are dis ussed and how in su h a distributed appli ation
setting a potential adaptation to these dierent ontexts, su h as lo ation or
devi e apabilities an be used for realizing mobility-aware servi e-oriented
Grids.
