ABSTRACT

Air is a vital element for every human being. The efficiency of the worker inside the mill and his health conditions may seriously be impaired by insufficient ventilation. The air quality, air temperature, and circulation of air inside the work place predominantly influence the worker’s efficiency and comfort. Air free from contaminants, which is closely maintained within a fixed range of temperature and humidity, is an essential requirement of the textile mill. The generation of temperature is high in spinning mill, especially when more people are working under one roof along with more number of machines working at a higher pace. The frequent usage of water spray and provision of wide windows for fresh air are not sufficient to improve the working conditions.
