Introduction

This model code establishes a set of recommendations for the design of structures with autoclaved aerated concrete ( A A C ) of adequate, reliable and durable performance. The aim of this code is similar to the one achieved by the C E B / F I P Model Code M C 78 [1.1] which is now being replaced by the C E B / F I P Model Code MC 90 [1.2, 1.3, 1.4].
