Anthodia 2-8 cm in diam., rarely some what larger, upright. Bracts of involucre lanceolate, hairy. Ray flowers ligulate, sterile, golden yellow; disc flowers tubular, yellow, bisexual, fertile. Achenes cuneate, puberulent. Outside Siberia, 2 n = 102.
