ABSTRACT
Blast prediction formulas for different outcome quantities like fragmentation (x50, n), peak particle velocity (PPV) of ground motion, or damage zone depth (Rc) in remaining contours contain primary quantities raised to non-integer powers, which make a simple physical interpretation in terms of e.g. energy impossible.
