Abstract.Thispaperdealswithflowelectrificationintransformers.Anexperimental set-uphasbeenbuilttoanalysetheinfluenceofthetransversethermalgradient,and thesurfacepressboardresistance.Itisfoundthatthetransversethermalgradienthas agreatinfluenceonthephenomenonasthewallcurrentisgreatlyincreasinginterms ofthisparameter.Inanotherhand,thechargebuild-upattheoil/pressboardinterface reducesthesurfaceresistance.
