ABSTRACT
Intheelectrostaticgascleaningprocesses,oneofthemostimportantrequirementsisthe continuousandeffectiveoperationoftheprecipitator(ESP).Onlyarelativelysmalldecrease inefficiencycouldmeanahugeamountofemitteddustcontaminatingtheenvironment.In caseoflargeindustrialinstallationsitisveryadvantageoustobeabletodeterminethe possiblefaultsofthesystemfromthesymptomsbeforetheyoccur.Thustheinterruptionsof theprecipitationprocessmaybeeffectivelydecreasedandthemaintenancecanbeoptimally scheduled.
