Abstract.Spectrallyresolvedopticalenergyofthesparkdischargewas measuredinthevisibleandinfraredregions,usingasingle-eventspectrometercalibratedbyacalorimeter.Asparkgapgeneratorwasused,withan opticalsignalcollectingsystemthatprovidedfurthercalibrationandalignmentbymeansofasetoflightemittingdiodes.Thecalorimeterdetectivity wasD=4.3x107V.J-1anditsdetectionlimit2.3x10-13J.
