ABSTRACT
Growing crops by means of manpower systems is particularly practised for vegetable crops such as tomato, green pepper, egg-plant, cucumber, cabbage, celery, onion, leek, cauliflower, turnip, lettuce and potato, but is not uncommon for some technical plants (tobacco, sugar-beet and carrot for seeds), some species of flowers, fruit trees and grapes.
