ABSTRACT
Some recent sea terminal developments have featured flat stores of up to about 30,000tonnes of cement. These store cement within 4 metre high perimeter walls totally enclosed by a sealed building which carries the infeed system and air venting arrangements. Extraction depends on front end loader machines working inside the store during intervals between ship deliveries.
