ABSTRACT
Abstract This paper presents a summary of the evolution of shotcrete technology. It describes the important properties related to both wet-and dry-mix shotcrete in the fresh state. It gives a definition of shootability that applies to both processes. Other testing procedures usually used on fresh shotcrete are described and discussed in an optic of future standardization. Rheological properties that can be used to give a numerical estimation of shootability are presented.
