ABSTRACT
The purpose of this paper is to describe the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Bio-Energy Coordinating Committee (BECC), an organization for information exchange and communication among the DOE offices involved in bio-energy, and to provide a brief overview of bio-energy programs and activities conducted by DOE.
