ABSTRACT

Recently we have seen a growing interest in new innovations in construction management. This search for improvement is driven by a long list of industry wide problems. Major failures in project performance include cost overruns, delays in planned schedules, quality problems, and an increase in the number of disputes and litigation. As a result, construction professionals are looking for new (or at least different) ways of managing the construction process.
