ABSTRACT

This chapter concentrates on the specific results of the case studies presented in Part II, Chapters 4 to 12,1 describing their features on the levels of action and structure, whereas subsequent chapters embed these results in the broader context of other investigations in environmental management. However, the focus on actors and structures of successful environmental management is accompanied by treatment of main features of the success stories in general. Table 1 summarizes the principal characteristics of the companies and their environmental management performance.
