The publications in regard to the tr a n s i t i o n layer b e t w e e n cement paste and ligh t w e i g h t aggregate are not so many as far as inf o r m a t i o n g o e s . J i t e n d r a K.Bhargava has de t e r m i n e d the interface b e t w e e n the h a r d e n e d cement paste and the exp a n d e d clay as well as the pumice by means of rad i o g r a p h y .
