ABSTRACT
Figure 8 shows the effect of mixed-mode fracture initiation theory on the load-displacement curve of specimens (C-l,C-2) with Kic=120.0 kgf/cm**'. Judging from the figure, the load-deflection curves were al most same irrespective of the using mixed-mode fracture initiation theory The trajectories of cracks were also almost same irrespective of the using mixed-mode fracture initiation theory. Therefore, in this study, mixed-mode fracture initiation theory did not affect the load-displacement curve so much. It seemed that crack
