ABSTRACT
This second part looks at the countries included in the study and their training and development programs according to certain classification criteria. The following dimensions are used for comparison: 'provider', 'target group, timing, nature of participation, and professional validity', 'aims', 'contents', 'methods', and 'pattern'. 'Certification', another criterion used for comparison, is covered in the context of 'provider' and 'target group, timing, nature of participation, professional validity'. A comparison featuring a discussion of 'costs' (as they are indicated separately in the outlines of the country reports) is not dealt with here.
