ABSTRACT
The Citrus agroecosystem in Florida, as we perceive it today, maintains, utilizes and perpetuates what is actually derived through a historically recent, well intended and focused human endeavor (by Floridians), spanning over past four centuries. This agroecosystem developed predominantly through human ingenuity, presently contributes a major portion o f global citrus produce.
