ABSTRACT
In the figure, from US Patent [144], the absorbent core ‘3’ was coated with microfibres ‘2’ on the surface by using a spray nozzle ‘1’ to form a liquid permeable facing. The spraying techniques can use the spray nozzle, which results in spiralling fibres or a melt blowing technique which straightaway deposit the microfibres on the surface.
