ABSTRACT
The Programmable Transmission System (PTS) from Quin Systems Ltd. first became available in 1988, at which time it provided an innovation in motion control. A PTS system can control from one to ten digital servo axes and comprises a G64 bus based rack with a host CPU running the central command processing software, Mconsole, and between one and ten DSC-1M single axis
digital servo control cards (3U high, Eurocard format) each having an on-board motion processor.
