/84 DE Development and construction of a modular system for an autonomous electrical power supply on the Irish island of Cape Clear

The supply system consists of two wind energy converters of AEROMAN type with a nominal power of 30 kW each, a diesel generator unit made by MAN with a nominal power of 72 kW and a battery storage array with a capacity of 100 kWh made by Hagen Batterie AG. In former times the electric energy was generated by two diesel-generator sets with nominal powers of 100 kW and 164 kW. The energy is distributed via a 10 kV overhead line.
