ABSTRACT
Since the last reporting period further work was carried relating to the data aquisition and the remote control system.
PPC personnel designed the data monitoring system, working out the software and specifying the hardware required to monitor all the important operation parameters. Equipment fit for professional data monitoring applications were selected as access difficulties to the island rendered reliability of operation of the outmost importance. Further more the demand for reliable readings dictated high precision instruments.
