ABSTRACT
To characterize aging properties and resistance to climatic damage of PMB chemophysical test methods, such as chromatography, as well as adhesion/cohesion tests should be used and further developed.
The development of PMB specifications is a complicated task and it is very difficult to make a single specification valid for every product, due to the complexity of performance of the various modified bitumen as a function of bitumen nature and the type as well as the polymer content. Hence, many years of experience are needed before a more definite opinion on this matter can be stated.
