ABSTRACT
With the introduction of the plasticizing admixtures, the frost resistance increases due to the low water-to-cement ratio and additional air-entrainment in the concrete mixture. The use of the air-entraining admixtures is effective provided the volume of the entrained air and the size of the air pores in the concrete are controlled.
