ABSTRACT

Between 1920 and 1970 thousands of buildings some small and medium, but many big and high-rise, were constructed following a trend in which the return of the investment and the impressive and fascinating image of 'modem times' were the main issues. The indoor comfort (natural light, absence of air draughts and excess of radiation) was not taken into great consideration as well as the waste of energy.
