ABSTRACT
The basic chemical composition of water-dispersible pigments has been described in Section 1.5. They can be used in the same way as water-soluble colorants and are used mainly in the production of soap. In contrast to water-soluble colorants, these stock solutions (correct "dispersions") are not clear but have a noticeable opaqueness, which becomes evident as a function of the concentration.
