Creating and planning your call center to serve foreign markets entails similar yet different considerations than doing the same for domestic cal l centers.

Note that there is a difference betwee n foreign and offshore (or nearshore), even though thes e strategies may entail setting up or outsourcing to call centers in the same country, and often the same cal l centers and agents . "Foreign" refer s t o meeting the needs of that nation's market, whereas "offshore" and "nearshore" applies to the home domestic market.
