ABSTRACT
The first TORBED process reactor was invented and patented in 1981. The technology has since been extensively developed to provide process techniques in gas/solid contacting. Over 80 plants have now been installed for applications as diverse as gas scrubbing, fat-free snack production, clinical waste pasteurization, mineral processing, combustion, and other industrial uses.
