ABSTRACT

In Section 1.1 the statem ent of the problems discussed in Chapter 1 is presented. Section 1.2 gives an account of well-known results on stationary control systems stabilization, while the rest of the chapter deals with non-stationary systems. In Sections 1.2 -1 .4 the construction of stabilizing controls is carried out based on the reduction of the system to a simpler canonical form, whereas in Sections 1 .4 - 1.8 the method of Lyapunov functions is applied to this end.
