ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: Typical impedance measurement process in scientific studies involves the use of dedicated laboratory equipment like Agilent 2494A or Wayne Kerr 6500B. Although precise and reliable, these kinds of instruments limit the measurements into dedicated work places due to their size, weight and cost. While it is relatively easy to design impedance meas urement application for a specific task, it still often requires too much time and resources. The aim of this work is to provide a flexible and cost effective solution for performing imped ance measurements both inside the laboratory and out. The design is targeting mostly the fields of material study, study of electrochemical cells (like batteries) and bio-impedance.
