ABSTRACT
Abstract In this paper i t w i l l be shown how the r e l i a b i l i t y of t r a d i - t i o n a l methods of testing fresh concrete i s reduced through the increased use of effective admixtures and through the fact that the d u r a b i l i t y of the hardened concrete becomes more s i g n i f i c a n t in comparison to i t s compressive strength.
