Theoretical distributions. Theoretical probability distributions are not only basic to statistical theory but form the scientific foundations on which the practice of statistics is built. These distributions are not just theory; but theory that a half century of practice has shown to be powerful and versatile, as well as successful in solving a wide variety of problems in the real-world.
