ABSTRACT
For computational integration, finite-element based methods are adopted because of their versatility. Another background point is that the structural nonlinear analysis under static as well as dynamic actions is coded extensively for structural safety and serviceability assessment based on a finite-element method. As Chapter 1 states, the authors aim to combine concrete performance assessment with time, i.e. the main theme of this book, and verification of structural functions.
