Addit ive response is the total effect of a combination, which is equal to the sum of the effects of the two components taken independently [113]. It is also known as the cooperative action of two agrochemicals such that the observed response of a test organism to their joint application is equal to the response predicted to occur by an appropriate reference model [54].
