ABSTRACT
Finely cespitose plant. Radical leaves herbaceous, narrowly acuminate, with entire margin. Stem 15-30 cm tall, with up to 1 mm broad wings, covered at base with fimbriate remnants of leaves. Bracts oblong-lanceolate, gradually acuminate: outer up to 2.5 times longer than inner, latter not inflated at base, usually faintly colored along margin. Inflorescence ter minal, with 1-5 flowers. Perianth lobes recurved, elliptical, acuminate at tip. Fruit globose capsule, brownish. Seeds black, finely reticulate. Outside Siberia, 2 n = 16.
