ABSTRACT

We propose a new algorithm to implement fast and accurate search for the facial feature in a still color image without constraint background under mobile environments. To improve the performance of detection, Triangle-Square (TS) transformation, as a simple geometric mathematics, is applied. This is of benefit to much computation time are saved, with the evidence of our experimental results. We have similar ratio of face detection to other methods and fast speed, enough to use on real-time system for identification in mobile device. As the results, our proposed algorithm show that it will be more suitable for a real-time application in undefined environments, where varying lighting conditions with complex backgrounds, according to be fast and accurate than any other previous method.
