ABSTRACT

We portray the methods to increase the accuracy of “anticipation” of our current perceptual writing environment based on the perceptual user interface (PUI) model, by means of statistical temporal analysis. We will show that the lead and lag times in freehand writings contribute significantly to the process of singling out command Gestures from normal handwritings, while simultaneously freeing up more processing time for the perceptual writing environment to perform other tasks within its active schedule. We also show our benchmarking results of the analysis compared to our previous works.
