ABSTRACT
Introduction Much has been said in lectures and papers about air transport in the 20th century, but few of us have had the temerity or foolhardiness to venture into the 21st century. Today this must be done, as the objective is how to arrive sensibly and economically, in energy terms, via the year 2000 at the year 2025. The presentation relates to the world scene as air transport is international.
