T h i s p a p e r d e s c r i b e s t h e r e s u l t s o f a f e a s i b i l i t y s t u d y r e g a r d i n g t h e e x p l o i t a t i o n o f m a r i n e c u r r e n t s i n t h e S t r a i t o f M e s s i n a , I t a l y .
