Stand with the feet slightly apart and with the arms hanging in front of the body, fingertips touching. Lean the head forward slightly. Breathe in and raise the arms sideways away from the body. Continue the intake of breath as the arms go above the head. The fingertips should meet above the head as the breathing in is completed. The head should be slowly tilting backwards as the arms are raised. Keep the arms relaxed and slightly bent at the elbows throughout, and keep the hands relaxed at the wrists. Breathe out as the arms are separated and lowered to their original positions. Tilt the head forward slowly as the arms descend.
