ABSTRACT
The conventional analysis in this appendix is carried out on real wind data from the city of Rio de Janeiro and its surrounding area. A map of the city and environs of Rio de Janeiro is shown in Fig. C.l. Wind data for Santa Cruz are listed in Table C.l, and results for three areas are plotted in Figs C.2-CA.
