ABSTRACT
Internet Telephony, VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol), IPT (Internet Protocol Telephony) and IP (Internet Protocol) Telephony are a set of CT (Computer Telephony) technologies and products whose markets are new in the last couple of years. Their commonality is the IP protocol, which is a digital, packetswitched set of instructions for sending voice and fax information over the Internet and over private intranets.
