Primitive Solid Objects
This chapter concentrates on AutoCAD’s 3D solid primitives — those basic geometric shapes that can be used as building blocks to create complex solid models. For each of the six commands — BOX, CONE, CYLINDER, SPHERE, TORUS, and WEDGE — this chapter:
• describes how the primitive can be used;
• explains how the command for the primitive is implemented;
• demonstrates the use of each primitive.
