In Depth In this chapter, I’ll discuss the C Runtime Library (CRT) enhancements introduced in Visual C++.NET, focusing on the new CRT features such as runtime error checking, buffer overrun detection, aligned memory allocation, throwing new operator, new string functions, and routines for manipulating dates beyond year 2038.
