ABSTRACT
There are special reasons for choosing pneumatics: Compressed air moves into action faster than any hydraulic fluid, survives safely in any environment; and is as plentiful as the atmosphere. Temperature and radiation have no harmful effect, water hammer doesn't exist, drips won't occur, there's no electricity to short circuit, and a portable pressurized container can store more energy per pound than a car battery.
