ABSTRACT
Flow and pressure are basic to fluid power motion control, and their sensing will be covered in some detail. Temperature, density, viscosity, and liquid level are important in how they affect flow and pressure; force, torque, position, velocity, and rpm are the output goals; contamination, vibration, and noise are unwanted side effects.
