Direct Mycoparasitism

Trichoderma aureovinde was found to be mycoparasitic towards Rhizoctonia solani causing dry rot of chilli (Capsicum annum L. and C. frutescens L.) and the Trichoderma, its hyphae, grew over the hyphae of R. solani (Bunker and Mathur, 2001).
